Client data is typically stored within the client’s own Microsoft environment. Microsoft may process data in accordance with its own privacy and security frameworks.

ITHelpline does not control Microsoft’s data handling practices.

Use of Solutions, Intellectual Property & Client Reference

IT Helpline delivers solutions based on its experience, frameworks, and reusable components developed across multiple engagements.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • ITHelpline retains ownership of its methodologies, templates, frameworks, and reusable solution components

  • Similar or derivative solutions may be delivered to other clients where appropriate

  • Delivery of a solution does not constitute exclusive ownership unless explicitly contracted

Where custom development is created specifically for a client, usage rights will be defined within the relevant engagement agreement.

Client Reference & Branding

IT Helpline may reference clients as part of its portfolio, including:

  • Use of company name

  • Use of logo

  • General description of services delivered

This is limited to non-confidential, high-level representation for marketing and credibility purposes.

If a client prefers not to be referenced, they may request removal or restriction in writing at any time.

Confidentiality

IT Helpline does not disclose:

  • Sensitive business information

  • Proprietary data

  • Internal processes or configurations

All client-specific information remains confidential and is not reused outside the engagement.

AI, Copilot & Automation

Where services involve AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot:

  • Outputs may be generated based on available data and permissions

  • AI responses are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete

  • Clients are responsible for reviewing and validating outputs

ITHelpline does not use client data to train external AI models.

Disclosure of Information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Microsoft and other technology providers (as required for service delivery)

  • Trusted contractors or delivery partners supporting our services

  • Professional advisors or where required by law

All disclosures are limited to what is necessary for service delivery.

Overseas Disclosure

Some of our team and delivery partners may operate outside Australia.
